Halloween 2009..........is over!

Cameron (Brobee) Collin (Ben 10) Connor (Frog)

These are the costumes I remember wearing as a child:
Cat
Old woman

Why can't I remember any others? See if you can remember the costumes you wore as a child.

The boys rocked it old school this year. They went door to door. They were adorable and excited and WET.

It's good!

To those who follow the health of my little Camerooonsky. The full blood work up that was done for those questionable lymph nodes, came back ok. Also, the AFP and ultrasound this round was all good as well. The last Dr. visit my budding director (Collin) took my phone out and recorded some of the Dr. checking out Cameron. Now, Cameron roams my videos and watches his encounter with the Dr. He knows now, who he is and what will happen to him. With his most serious voice he looks up at me and says, "that's the Dr." as if he's this monster. We are well known in the ultrasound office and luckily we have the same lady every time. I am very pleasaed with my little guy. He is doing great!

FAIL photo session..but still worth all the trouble

It is more work photographing my own kids, because they just don't take me seriously sometimes. Welcome to a day in my life. This is my "FAIL" photo session. Here are the reasons these would not be sell able.

#1. Cammy is watching yo gabba

#2. It looks like Collin and Coo have 2 heads on 1 body.

The upside: They are genuinely smiling!

#1. If it looks like they are in pain, it's most likely not a sold image.

The upside: Collin looks happy!

Ok, this is the winner of the bunch. I don't have eye contact from 2 of the 3, but I still like it.

This one.....chokes me up.
Do you ever feel sad and lonely? That's the feeling this photo gives off. Since it does not give that warm fuzzy (my family loves me) feeling. We will leave this one out of the scrapbooks! The real truth is that if Cooie can't call the shots he just won't do it. This was a protest and battle of wills. I don't mean to pigeon hole any of my children, but he's making it awfully hard to "not" call him a "middle child". I could just eat Cammy up in this one!
This happened because by this time, we were no longer 3. There is a window of opportunity when photographing multiple children and that window closed pretty fast.

But, I am pretty quick and can always get a solo shot!

Hope you all enjoyed my glimpse into a photo session with the Davis boys. As disastrous as this was, it is the reality of a photo session and also my daily life with 3 sons. Lots of protests and choking! How will I ever survive?

A beautiful fall date with Collin.

Collin will be 6 in December. Just looking at these pics makes me wish I could hold him as a baby again. We were on a mommy/son date and he had me laughing. When you have more than one child, getting them alone really helps to see the individual personality. One thing that cracks me up about Collin is his clumsiness. I'm not sure if it's that his mind is elsewhere, but this little guy fell twice while on our date. Once from on top of a bench doing karate chops and again just walking. We went to the bookstore (one if my fave places) and looked around.

Central Washington Fair and Good friends

Tony played with his band, Tieton drive at the Central Washington fair last Sunday. The boys were able to watch daddy perform.

Our good friends Janelle and Caleb drove from Spokane for a visit. We had a blast.

My little sunshine

One of my Favorite things in the world, is HATS! Cooie shares my love of hats, he picked this one out today and we both thought it was worthy of a photo shoot! Seriously, this little guy needs an agent, he's so willing! That's why you have been seeing him the most!

Just in time for fall.....my new shabby granny chair!

Click on this one to view larger!

I have been looking for some time now for an old chair to use for posing. I found this one today and had Coo do some posing for me. Isn't he just the sweetest little man. I am so happy with my find today I had to post!!! Can't wait for my fall sessions with this chair! Doesn't it look great with the apples? I am going to find a spot once the leaves fall and set it up there too!! So much fun!!!

I'm such a lucky mama.

My house is a disaster. The laundry is not done. I have a million things to do but all I really want to do is freeze these moments. Good thing I have my camera by my side at all times. I love my little guys! A fun outing chasing squirrels and pretending the gazebo is a haunted house. They have such great imaginations, I love that about them! Collin made up an imaginary "Grandpa mailman" not to long after that Cooie decided he had a "Grandpa frog". Cooie still talks about his Grandpa frog a year later.

I keep a journal of things that happen with the boys, like the first tooth or funny things they might say. I was just reading it over and here are some of the entries:

December 9th 2007
Tony was on sitter duty. I did not close the baby gate to the kitchen as I left. When I came home I noticed an entire bag of marshmallows was gone. Tony knew nothing about it. When I went to Collin, I asked him why he had a band-aid on his tummy he replied, "I ate to many marshmallows."

August 27th 2009
My mom was over watching the kids while we went to Seattle for a job. Collin went to the kitchen sink and took the sprayer, put it in his mouth and proceeded to get a drink. Grandma asked Collin if mommy let's you do that? He replies: Sometimes, If she doesn't see me!

Bro's

My boys are fun. My boys are crazy. My boys love each other. Even if they don't always show it!
My guys have tons in common, they share the letter "C" and they all have birth marks on their necks. I wonder if we had a fourth if he would have a birth mark on his neck as well!

Good morning sunshine

Some things are a must have! When I saw these jammies I knew Cammy needed to own them. The monkey has a scar in the exact same spot as Cammy. How perfect!

When you wake up with hair that looks like this, does it mean he had a good night sleep or a bad one?

Strike a pose

My kids are what made me want to get better at photography! They are now seasoned pros and given the right time of day, all three of them ask to strike a pose. Collin was all about it today, he had so many new poses for me. I love capturing my boys and giving them the gift of photos.

It was gabba land at the Davis house today!

Tony, Collin, April, Cammy, and Cooie all wearing home-made gabbs t-shirts!

Today was Cammy's 2nd birthday celebration. Of course we did it gabba style! Cameron knew today was his party and the anticipation of it all was almost too much for him to bare. When he awoke from his nap, we had put out all the decorations. This was a careful procedure, if we had done it too soon Cameron would have had all the plates, napkins, goody bags in piles all for himself. He caught me the day prior making a goody bag, let me tell you this guy must have said "gabba" in his most pitiful voice about 50 times before I had to give in. His passion for the little monsters is fascinating. It goes beyond the normal love, I might call this an obsession. Most of our "invited" guests did not make the b-day due to colds and prior obligations. So, it was nice and low key with just Ton's parents and the boys. It was nice. Cameron had had a blast.

Cammy and his cake. Rando said he's buy that for $7.99Treat bags, minus a muno for a certain 2 year old! Hmm hmm

Playtime before the party, with you guessed it.

Cameron singing while listening to Gabba music. Nothing makes me smile like this little guys sweet voice.

Artwork by Meow-ma who watched the boys while we went out of town. Kept up because of it's awesome-ness.

This one was mine. Tried to duplicate the gabba logo.

Happy Birthday my little boy! Seriously, you just can't get any older until I am ready!!!

Collin's first day of Kindergarten

Today is the first "official" day of Kindergarten for Collin. He has had 2 years of preschool so I was prepared for the day. I did get teary eyed before we left the house and Collin reminded me that the school was really close to the house. He woke up and kept asking me if he could go to school. We had to wait until noon!!! He has half day afternoon class. We decided to leave early for lunch. He chose McDonald's! He said he was excited to learn! I am so proud of him and I hope his day is wonderful! This is the beginning of his school career!

The little Coo frog turned 4!

The invites were sent out and a 4th birthday was on it's way. We had one excited Cooie in our house. The cake was made (with the help of the birthday boy) and cake balls that were supposed to resemble frogs and lady bugs. Actually looked more like mutant frogs and lady bugs. Looks aside, Tony and Collin went goo goo for cake balls!

Our friend Jamie loaned us the bounce house for his special day! Thank you! Look at that smile! This was a perma-grin if I ever saw one!!!!!

Oh Daddy! I must say there is something sexy about a guy who makes fishing poles and boats for his son's b-day! A guy who carefully paints them. A guy who paints racing stripes. The kids and I will never forget that special thing you did!

The Pinata! The worm didn't stand a chance. You were so cute!

And so done for!

Thanks for the Lolly Mr. Worm friend! Little Cole and family drove 2.5 hours for the party! It was so good to see you guys!!!
Cooie proudly showed his friends and family all his lovely gifts.

Some made him laugh! Today when you go into his room, this little guy is turned facing the wall. I wonder why?

Thanks to the wonderful friends and family that made Cooies day super special! He was a very happy boy and that made me a very happy mommy!

Sniffle, Sniffle, waaaaaaaaa Happy 4th Birthday Coo frog!

My dearest son Connor Quinn,
You are growing so fast! I know everyone says that, but for some reason you just kinda had no choice but to grow a little faster! You are precious to mommy and I love you.
Cooie is 1 month old! Cooie is 1 year old!

Cooie is 2 years!

Cooie is 3 here!

And this my Coo frog today!

He remains true to his "frog" friends to this day. Loves to play batman and play Ben 10 video games with his older brother. He likes to make forts for his baby brother Cameron and loves candy! Especially, m&m's!
Happy special day little man! It's was one of the happiest days of my life meeting you for the first time! What a lucky mama I am!

4 hours in the car for an hour of fun!

The Davis family was all packed and on the road for a beach getaway. Ocean Shores was the destination. It seamed the 5 hour one way trip was doomed at the start. Between, screaming, hitting, crying, growling and hissing we changed course and opted for Alki beach instead. So we cut out drive time in half and saved on a hotel room.Looks like next year is our year for the big one. The boys were so excited to see the beach and really didn't seem to mind that we were in Seattle. In fact, Collin could not believe we were in Seattle. I guess all the trips to Seattle in his little lifetime I failed to mention where we were. I have high hopes that our family vacations will get better or at least last more than an hour!

We finally made it to Boulder Cave

About 2 weeks ago, Cooie and I attempted a trip to Boulder Cave. We did not make it and ended up stranded on the Hwy because the transmission went out in the yellow van. We went this time with our good friends Jamie and Dominik and had a blast.
Along the way the boys decided to take shirts off. It was hot!

Cooie would not pose with me! Boo hoo!

Our little friend. We made it to the cave. The boys went swimming. Oops we forgot towels and swim shorts.A shot of the Cave.
Collin thought it was soooooo funny when Dominik had to strip down and I informed him that I would not be laughing because he was next.
